Cedar Log Work
Railings, trellis and other custom functional structures are designed to reflect traditional Adirondack style log work. Logs are joined using a contour coping method creating a natural “grew there” look. Vertical post bottoms are dipped in rubber to protect the log from rotting then sanded and sealed with several coats of spar varnish.
Cedar naturally resists rot and requires little maintenance. A fresh coat of varnish every five years will keep it looking nice.
